PANDA² Peer Prevention and Leadership Training

PANDA² (Prevent and Neutralize Drug and Alcohol Abuse) is a comprehensive drug abuse prevention and wellness program that was developed by Meridian Services, Inc. in 1982. PANDA² is a year-round program that includes school based education groups, drug-free clubs and activities, overnight lock-ins, presentations and speakers. The culmination of these year-round activities are two camp retreats, one is a 4 day retreat for high school students, in grades 10-12 and the other is a 3 day retreat for middle school students in grades 7-8. These retreats are also designed to train students to return to their schools and communities and facilitate PANDA²/Peer Prevention activities throughout the year. PANDA 2 or similar clubs/activities are based in nearly every school in the county. For more information and a Panda Camp Registration Form, click here.
