Childhood is a time of learning and development. At Panda Pals Preschool and Daycare, children ages six weeks to 12 years have the opportunity to grow emotionally, mentally, physically and socially.

Panda Pals strives to provide a secure, happy, enriching and loving environment convenient to your home or place of work. Our center responds to the working parent’s growing need for an excellent childcare facility that fosters peace of mind.

We work to make each day a happy learning experience for your child by including opportunities for socialization, group play, reading aloud, dress-up/costume time and arts/crafts.

A typical day includes:

• Breakfast/Snack
• Circle time- Songs, Calendar, Weather
• Story Time
• Learning Centers-Science, Math, Reading, Art, Computers, Sand/Water, Blocks, Housekeeping
• Large Motion/Outdoor Play
• Arts/Crafts
• Lunch
• Nap/ Rest Time
• Snack
• Free Play

Each staff member is fully trained in Child Development and certified in First Aid, Communicable Disease Control and Child Abuse Recognition. The Daycare Administrator/Pre-K Classroom teacher is a master’s level, certified teacher. State licensed and operated, Panda Pals is open to the public.

In addition, Panda Pals provides after-school transportation from Youngstown Community School and Eagle Heights Academy.

Kindergarten Readiness Program

In partnership with the Ohio Department of Education and the Mahoning County Educational Service Center, Panda Pals provides a top-notch Kindergarten Readiness Program under the Early Learning Initiative (formerly know as Head Start Plus).

Summer Program

School age children can participate in the Panda Pals Summer Program. Throughout the summer participants take field trips to exciting places such as Conneaut Lake Park, the Pittsburgh Zoo and the Great Lakes Science Center. The Panda Pals Summer Program is a great way to keep kids busy during their time off school.
