EAP Counseling

Meridian WorkLIFE offers in-person and telephone substance abuse assessment (SAP) and pre-mental health assessment, short-term problem solving, referral, monitoring, and follow-up in our private offices.

Critical Incident Stress Debriefing

Meridian WorkLIFE conducts critical incident stress debriefings for traumatic events, including death of an employee, workplace accidents, natural disasters and violence in the workplace.

Mediation

Trained mediators are available to help resolve differences of opinion between coworkers, and between management and employees through impartial facilitation. We will provide confidential pre-mediation assessment and on-site or off-site delivery to resolve difficult problems before they escalate.

BWC Drug Free Workplace/ DOT Compliance

Meridian WorkLIFE can help you develop, implement and maintain an effective drug-free workplace program that complies with BWC and DOT standards. Services include:

Organizational and Employee Training

Meridian WorkLIFE provides workplace training in a variety of subjects, including CPR and First AID, Blood Borne Pathogens, Substance Abuse, and Stress Management. Training programs may be customized to meet your organization’s unique needs.

Team Building-Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator

Meridian WorkLIFE is certified to administer the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator, which can help both organizations and individuals make better decisions regarding suitable careers and job placement and can improve communications within the organizational environment.  Services include leadership/coaching, evaluation of team effectiveness and systematic problem solving, analysis of two-person teams, and change management.

Vocational Rehabilitation-Return to Work

Meridian WorkLIFE provides BWC certified vocational rehabilitation and return to work services. Services are provided to facilitate early return to work, or to an appropriate alternative, for persons who have been absent due to injury or illness.

Medical and Laboratory Services

Meridian WorkLIFE provides a complete range of primary healthcare services, including:

• Comprehensive Drug and Alcohol Testing and Collection Services
• Health Screens, including Hearing, Vision, Muscular Skeletal, Respiratory Fitness, Glucose/Sugar, Tuberculosis (TB), Pulmonary Function and EKG
• Customized Physicals Exams, including DOT Physicals and BWC First Report of Injury
• Flu Shots, Immunization, and Hepatitis Vaccinations

Meridian WorkLIFE provides full Medical Review of all DOT Drug Screens, as well as a Bureau of Worker’s Compensation approved physician.
