But getting sober is just the beginning. Once sobriety is achieved, the process of rebuilding one's life must begin. Relapse often occurs when people lack the ongoing support, structure, guidance, and skills necessary to face the challenges of life after achieving abstinence.

Accordingly, our programs focus on many areas of the client's life, ranging from psychological and emotional issues, social and family relationships, health and fitness, diet and nutrition, spirituality, and life stressors, to housing, childcare, job placement, time/money management, and independent living skills.

Specialized Programs

Dual-Diagnosis Treatment- S.A.M.I. Program

A specialized outpatient treatment program for individuals with both substance abuse and mental health related disorders. The S.A.M.I. Program utilizes the Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT) model, which is highly effective in the treatment of dual-disorders.

Women's Gender Specific Treatment-

An outpatient treatment program designed specifically for women. In addition to the standard drug and alcohol education, counseling, relapse prevention, and 12-step modalities, the program addresses barriers typical to women in treatment, such as prenatal care, transportation, childcare, healthy relationships, and stable housing.

Medically Assisted Opiate Treatment

Meridian Services’ Medically Assisted Opiate Treatment Program offers methadone maintenance services for opiate addiction. 

Adolescent and Young Adult Treatment

Adolescent and Young Adults have unique treatment needs. Meridian offers outpatient and residential services designed specificially for young people and their families.

Problem Gambling Treatment

Specialized counseling and recovery programs for problem gamblers, combining individual and group counseling, financial education, and family support.
